Atlantic Ave, one of many train stations close to Helena's house.
I went over to Manhattan one day to check how the East Village and Lower East Side are doing. Nothing much has changed since I moved away from there in -08! It actually felt a little sleepy compared to the vibrant upcoming hoods in Brooklyn.
Schiller's reastaurant still looking good on Rivington. It used to be one of my fave places when I lived on LES just a couple of blocks away.
I went over to check out my old address on Pitt Street and Canal. The entrance to #57 is just right of the yellow marquis. Nothing had changed on Pitt Street, it's still super ghetto.
Walked up to the East Village where me and Helena used to be roomies. Life Café was our water hole where lots and lots of Coffe-Baileys were had. They now have a cute outdoor patio in the back.
380 East 10:th Street. This is where we lived for almost 2 years, up until 9-11 happened and our lives and everything in New York changed.
