It was dark already once we hit the first camp ground north of Malibu. Cooking in the dark was successful and the meat and the corn was possibly the most tasty ever!
The only thing we really did forget was a lantern for the table. But the light from the fire pit helped a bit I guess.
Popcorn for dessert!
Drove to Ojai and this lake the day after, continued to cruise up the mountains and got a spectacular view of the Pacific.
This is the sign with a very important bumper sticker; If I were you I'd turn back
Yeah we missed this one, got over heated brakes and eventually two hours later had to turn around and take the same way back.
You can use your mouth to sprinkle water over steaming hot brakesYou can also cool them down with ice from the cooler and pliers.
We did get a spectacular view though
Eric, Susanne and Chris came out to bbq the second night at Leo Cabrillo. Steaks and beers and good company..all you need!
Took a walk to the beach this morning, found some fun wall paintings
