Started the day with a vietnamese baguette at Lee's. Yummy!

This is a Joshua Tree, they certainly look funky. From what I understand they are a part of the palm tree-family, related to the Yucca.
It was a perfect day to go out to Joshua Tree, sunny with a mix of rainclouds and some rain.
Here I am, sitting in a hole in the wall just like the monkeys at the zoo Skansen.
We hiked for 1,5 hour to get up to an old gold mine. Well worth it even if it was super exhausting.
It was a fantastic landscape out there with a lot of cool cactuses.
