We took off north along PCH and headed for Lake Casitas.
Boys on motorcycles. Girls and dog in car.
Time to get gas and a change of plans..we ended up going back and forth a couple of times btw full camp grounds and not so smashing looking spots..until we finally settled for the original plan. The camp ground by Lake Casitas.
We were starving after spending too many hours driving and fired up the bbq immediately...fish, meat and corn.
The moon came up quickly, entirely full and beautiful, creating extra light.
Cooper runs the grill to perfection.
The gorgeous and strong full moon gave us some extra powers?
Since we didn't our own fire pit this time it got kind of cold at night. Luckily I'd brought my winter jacket, and Coop some beanies.
Not such a great idea. Inflating the mattress by mouth. But what do you do when the pump isn't working. Eric struggled for a long time.
So, how do the Wollams really sleep at night? Everybody in one corner?
Our little tent-cot that turned out to be a little...little. But it's very cute indeed.
