I got inspired by Daniella Witte's fantastic blog to make a Skånsk raspberry cake this morning.
While it was baking in the oven I took some pictures of recent changes in our house.
I planted these flowers and placed them along the ledge to our back entrance.
Which is more like our front entrance since we almost always use this one.
But it's on the side of the house so unfortunately our visitors won't get to see these cute plants.
But we do, and they make my day a little brighter every day I walk in and out of the house.
In one of the pots I planted this almost black colored basil.
Still haven't got to using it in the food. Wonder what it tastes like.
I sometimes sneak a peek at them...just cause I like the mix of flowers and terra cotta so much.
This is our orphan. It was left by our doorstep with bare roots and no flowers.
Now its residing next to Cooper's childhood birdcage and is in full blossom.
I really don't know what kind of plant it is. Some type of orchid maybe.
The Banania poster we got from Pris got itself a new frame from IKEA,
and it feels like it's always been hanging by our yellow and green diner dinner table.

Some lovely plants and flowers you have.
