I went to Skåne for the weekend. The plan was to visit the annual "Apple Days" in Kivik on Skåne's east coast. This is the major region for apple growers..and at this fair you can buy, see, taste and hear everything that's got to do with apples.
Klara showed up on her dad's shoulders and seemed happy to see me!
She's grown really tall since I saw her this summer, and she's an extremely opinionated little lady that loves to laugh.
This year's apple painting was made up by 45 000 apples and depicts, and is a tribute to the "Apple Kingdom" in Kivik.
We tasted lots of different funny named sorts of apples..I guess we all had different favorites.
It was such a gorgeous late summer day!
Before dinner we went to Sten's Huvud (Sten's Head) which is a national park named after the giant Sten who lived in a cave here.
