So I happened to stumble upon an open house at the Belmont Shore Model Railroad Club, here in San Pedro. Since my dad is a big fan I thought I might stop by and do some research for his next visit here.
This was an awesome place! Coop came over and we stayed for another hour, totally intrigued by the trains, the enthusiasts and the craft behind building all this!
Dave in the background is not just a train fan, but also the best at building and creating all the little houses and buildings.
This is a depot with old steam locomotives.
Old billboards all along the tracks.
Even the lights at the cross over flashes red when a train is coming!
Miniature palm trees!
There was a car crash and the poor guy flew right through the billboard to the right! His body left a hole and now he's being transported away by ambulance..

I love that model train open house! It's sad though because younger people aren't interested in model trains and the club will soon have no members. You sure take great pictures. I never noticed the person shaped hole in the billboard where the wreck was!
ReplyDeletePris, it was Cooper who saw that hole, it's so funny!!
DeleteEmma - yes, that's the plan. i'm keeping him here!
Om vi släpper in våra pappor där kommer de kanske aldrig ut igen! =)
