Carpinteria

We took a little roadtrip over the weekend. First stop Santa Barbara. I had checked out a horse event I wanted to go to. It was fun, the obstacles were at 1,20 m and we got to see some good action. The venue was perfectly placed with the mountains and Los Padres Natl Forest as a backdrop.

The campground in Carpenteria was a disaster so I'm not gonna post any picture from there. Just depressing. But we went on an evening drive and got to see some beauty.

Breakfast at Crushcakes bakery, such a great place.

In Ventura the thrift stores are lined up after one another.
In a gift store, not a thrift store, I found a set of the porcelain I have in Sweden.
Royal Copenhagen's Musselmalet. It's beautiful.

We drove home along the coast and made a stop at Zuma beach to swim.
A great ending to a real nice mini getaway!
