Day 1

It was the first day on my familys trip to LA. Mom turned 65 and we managed to squeeze soo many activities into one day-despite jetlag!
Birthday breakfast at Omelette&Waffle where mom got a surprise invitation to Joel's baptism later the same day, and an invitation to a Spa later this coming week. We went to the Korean Bell, where we admired the view and played some basketball. Everybody scored! Off to the animal rescue center next door, and then lunch at the Corner Store. Off to the peacock neighborhood where we saw a ton of birds. Over to Palos Verdes to look at the now famous Pot-Lady sitting in a garden. And at 3 pm over to the Swedish church in San Pedro where Joel properly got named Joel Viktor Morris.
We finished the day with dinner at 22ond Street Landing, and after that the Swedes left us to check into their rented cottage in Venice Beach. What a day. We were all so tired at dinner.. Klara even fell asleep waiting for her food, which has probably never happened before!
