So we headed north towards Oregon after a week in the heat. First stop - In-N-Out!
Many hours spent in the car. The kids were so good - Swedish gossip mag came in handy.
We arrived in Dunsmuir in norther California at night, and checked into the super cool Train Motel!
Klara was thrilled! As were we.
Just caught a glimpse of the place before the last light disappeared, but it was enough to get really excited! More than 20 old train cars separated and turned into hotel rooms!
The little village of Dunsmuir offered some really good food on a Friday night. With live music and and an outdoor patio. Super cozy!
And Klara played with her first American friend. The communication worked with a little help from dad.
It was a long day of driving we left behind us and were all pretty happy to close our train doors for the night.
