Yesterday was the day when finally it was my turn to get lucky.
The night before this Jeep was posted on Craigslist. I called the guy first thing in the morning. Was the first person to see the car. And with a little moral help quickly decided to buy it. The deal was a little too good to be true, the guy just wanted to sell it quickly. And this particular car had all the features that I had been looking for.
So.. six hours later this black beauty with only 39 000 us-miles on it came home with me.
Its a 2002 Wrangler X with soft top, ac, dual airbags, speed control..its in a very good condition and has had only two owners. It's amazing!!
I was given champagne to celebrate that the long Wrangler hunt is finally over!
The car had a bike rack in the back, and Cooper was trying to take it off. No success. The rack was stuck and wouldn't come off without better tools.
We went over to Eric, who had hack saw that came to good use. The guys put the original hub cab back on the spare wheel an now the car is even more beautiful!
