Cooper and I spent the night at the house in Portugese Bend, and woke up with this little fella in our bed. Not so bad.
Today Åke turned 70! He got beautiful singing in the morning and a cheesecake for breakfast. After that he was taken on a secret trip to Catalina Island.
Catalina offered lovely weather as usual, and Åke and Bodil got to go on a 2 hour bus tour of the island. Meanwhile the rest of us went snorkeling.
On the boat home everyone was pretty tired. Almost everyone.
We had a great fish dinner at The Whale and Ale in downtown San Pedro. Champagne and speech by Åke!
The evening ended with the usual performance by Sleeping Beauty, and a delicious strudel from Mishi's Strudel. Happy Birthday!
